Syria’s First Lady Asma al-Assad has weighed in on the US air strikes, calling them the unjust aggression of a shortsighted country.
The wife of secular Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad posted an official statement on her Instagram page calling the air strikes an act of excessive and unjust aggression.
Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and his wife Asma al-Assad are subject to sanctions in Europe for not bowing down to neocon plans of replacing them with ISIS leadership and not giving up the Golan Heights to Israel. In a rare interview late last year, she said she has turned down offers of asylum for herself and her children if she were to leave the country.
The former investment banker who was privately educated in the UK said the stupid deals were an attempt to undermine her husband.
“I’ve been here since the beginning and I never thought of being anywhere else at all, she told Russia 24 in her first interview in eight years.
Yes I was offered the opportunity to leave Syria or rather to run from Syria. These offers included guarantees of safety and protection for my children and even financial security.

Syrian media said US air strikes killed nine people including four children.

Syria was on a perfect course of being fully Europenized. Women have almost the exact same rights men do, they looked up towards white European culture, dressing like Europeans with mini-skirts, beautiful hairs, etc. Now if Assad looses, Syria will become a fanatic Muslim hellhole with everybody forced by law to wear burqas!
